Sutjiadi joins ITF Junior 14 & Under team for Euro tour
Aldila Sutjiadi finished third place after she defeated her compatriot Voni Darlina 7-5, 6-2. Katherine Ip of Hong Kong won back to back title here at “Jubilee School 14 & Under Asian Championships” as she proved and deserved to be top seed by disposing fifth Sun Zi-Tue from China 6-4, 6-4 in the final. Based on the results of two weeks tourney, Sutjiadi became the only Indonesian into ITF Junior 14 & Under team for European tour. Sutjiadi secured second place overall standing right behind Katherine IP. Third place is China’s Sun Zi-Tue and fourth place is Alina Abdurakhimova of Uzbekistan. While Darlina just ended in sixth place.
In boys category, Vietnamese Nguyen Hoang Thien came out as winner after he edged past fourth Krittin Koaykul from Thailand 6-2, 6-1 in the final. The top four overall standing: Nguyen then followed by Syrian Ameer Naow. Third place is taken by Koaykul and fourth place is Jeong In-Kyo from South Korea. All these four boys are eligible to be member of ITF Junior 14 & Under as well.
In doubles, Sutjiadi and Evita Febrihapsari claimed back to back doubles' title as they defeated Thai duo, Nahathai Khuntaket/Gornganok Tiraganok 7-5, 6-3. While Naow/Nguyen also won doubles' title two weeks in a row but this time they edged past Thai duet, Krittin Koaykul/Parl Rungsueborirak 6-2, 6-3.
