Indonesian boys still struggled
Indonesian boys were still titleless at "14th Sarawak Chief Minister's Cup World ITF Junior" an ITF Grade 3 tournament in Kuching, Sarawak, Malaysia which adjourned on Sunday (October 25, 2009). The best outcome was made by eleventh seed Ega Uneputty who ended in round 16 (third round) after he bowed out to Thai sixth seed Nuttanon Kadchapanan 4-6, 3-6. The other two players were defeated by their opponents in second round or round 32. Bandung resident and eighth seed Michael Tjuatjadarma bowed out to Morgan Johansson of Sweden 3-6, 3-6, while Indra Wijaya was beaten by South African fifth seed Renier Moolman 2-6, 6-7(5).
In doubles, Jason Joey Alexander capitalized best result among his compatriots as he finished in semi-final with his Thai partner Natasith Luesantia. In the last four round, duo Alexander/Luesantia lost to second seed pair Renier Moolman/Hernus Pieters from South Africa 4-6, 2-6.
