Big Mama's trio and Ysidora Tobing reach quarterfinals

Three Big Mama's girls along with Grace Sari Ysidora Tobing cruised into quarterfinals at Jakarta Women Circuit today. Top seed Ayu Fani Damayanti hardly faced any challenge from her opponent, lucky loser Yamini Reddy of India and Damayanti crushed Reddy 6-0, 6-0 in second round. Followed by second seed Sandy Gumulya who defeated Malaysian Jawairiah Noordin 3-6, 6-0 retired. Noordin had an ankle problem. Meanwhile fourth seed Jessy Rompies dispatched local wild card Karyn Emeralda 6-3, 6-0.

Also advancing into quarterfinal was Ysidora Tobing. The 16 years old player had to play more than 2 hours again as she survived the scare of Juan Ting-Fei from Chinese Taipei. In the end Ysidora Tobing saw off Juan 6-0, 5-7, 6-3. In her 2nd quarterfinal of 10K, Ysidora Tobing will challenge third seed Varatchaya Wongteanchai of Thailand who also managed to overcome her opponent's fight with 6-4, 2-6, 7-6(6) victory over Thai Nicha Lertpitaksinchai.

Local qualifier Nadia Ravita had to end her first ever 10K as she bowed out to Nungnadda Wannasuk 2-6, 3-6.
