The only junior player with pro ranking, Grace Sari Ysidora, despite her priority on junior circuit, she is still able to clinch her highest rank ever at WTA 754. Meanwhile on top of the list, Ayu Fani Damayanti is slightly lower at WTA 297 along with veteran Romana Tedjakusuma slips at WTA 665. The others such as Lavinia Tananta and the Gumulyas are slightly improving their ranks respectively. Then Jessy Rompies remains at the same ranking as last week.

Only former queen Yayuk Basuki is worth to be noted since she was the only player competing on the tour last week. Basuki was supposed to partner with Japanese veteran Kimiko Date-Krumm at "PTT Pattaya Open" last week. But unfortunately Date-Krumm twisted her ankle, so then Basuki had to find a new one and eventually she got younger Japanese Yurika Sema. This new duo Basuki/Sema lost in the quarterfinal to the eventual champs, Marina Erakovic/Tamarine Tanasugarn. So, with such outcome, Basuki gained new points and it was good enough to improve her rank at WTA 142.
