Surabaya born Christina Limantoro had no choice but to be satisfied with her result at "La Libertad Junior Open 2009" an ITF Grade 4 tourney in La Libertad, El Salvador. Limantoro bowed out to top seed Charlotte Calhoun of USA 3-6, 1-6 in the quarter-final yesterday (February 27, 2009). Nevertheless, she posted her second quarter-final of her junior career after she did it at Thailand Open, another ITF Grade 4 tourney in early July 2008.
Meanwhile, such perfect semi-finals will be witnessed by the fans here in La Libertad. Top seed Calhoun will face third seed Karen Hernandez of Mexico, then second seed Juliana Gajic of Canada will clash with fourth seed Annie Mulholland from USA. Canadian Gajic set quite impressive outcome as she reached semi-finals back to back after "Jalisco Junior Cup 2009" in Mexico last week.
